ALEMBIC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR IN CHARGE OF CORPORATE 
RESTRUCTURING

ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO, August  10th. 1994 - Alembic Systems International
Ltd. announced that George Peat of GLOBATRONICS, Inc., a Colorado
based NEXTSTEP-savvy firm, operated by Australian businessmen,
has been named a Director of Alembic. Mr. Peat is coordinating
GLOBATRONICS, Inc's acquisition and restructuring of Alembic.

Mr. Peat has an extensive background in computer electronics and
has partnered and operated several businesses in Australia, before
coming to the United States. He has a degree in Advanced Electronics.
Globatronics will be  providing Alembic with expert management
resources.  Alembic remains the pre-eminent source of NEXTSTEP
compatible hardware and the world's foremost clearing house and
supplier of the NEXTSTEP operating system and Third Party software.
Alembic is currently producing a demo CD ROM disc covering NeXT
compatible software which NeXT Computer Inc. will ship with each
copy of NEXTSTEP and each NEXTSTEP upgrade sold worldwide.

Mr. Peat also announced the relationship between Alembic and
GLOBATRONICS Inc. will provide both new capital and new products
--  resulting in Alembic's expanded ability to serve the NeXT
community better than ever before. All this  ensures Alembic's
continued growth in the NEXTSTEP community.  Alembic continues to
